The Faculty of Business Administration at City University Organizes a Lecture on Organizational Change and Institutional Structure

The Faculty of Business Administration at City University organized an insightful lecture on organizational change and institutional structure, presented by Dr. Emile Kanaan, in the presence of University President Dr. Walid Dagher, Ms. Najat Minkara, along with a number of administrative staff members and students from the faculty.

During the lecture, Dr. Kanaan addressed the topic of change management within organizations, emphasizing that employees’ acceptance of change largely depends on effective leadership with strong communication skills. He explained that delivering information to employees in a clear and transparent manner, combined with continuous training and proper preparation, helps them adapt smoothly to ongoing developments until change becomes an integral part of the institution’s culture.

He also highlighted the importance of organizational structure, noting that an institution’s success begins with the proper distribution of roles and responsibilities. He stressed that placing the right person in the right position contributes to a smoother and more flexible work environment while simultaneously enhancing productivity.

The lecture featured an interactive discussion session, during which students raised several questions that Dr. Kanaan answered by drawing on his extensive experience in managing institutions and companies.

At the conclusion of the seminar, Dr. Dagher presented Dr. Kanaan with a commemorative shield on behalf of the university, in the presence of Ms. Minkara, followed by a group photo bringing together all attendees.
