Applicants must have completed the Lebanese general secondary diploma or its equivalent. Those who have completed a vocational diploma will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The language of instruction at CityU is English. All applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English.

Prior to their first registration, all candidates must take placement tests in biology and basic chemistry except students entering the nursing department.

Admission is selective, fulfillment of the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance.
