The IEEE City University Student Branch, represented by Ahmad Khaznadar as Branch Chair, Wissam Hawchar as Vice-Chair, along with members Mohammad Kabbout and Rabih Khaznadar, participated in the IEEE Lebanon Section Annual General Assembly that was held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Hamra. The event was attended by members from the IEEE Lebanon Section, as well as representatives from IEEE student branches across universities in Lebanon. Dr. Hiba Al Sheikh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & Information Technology at City University, was also present. Ahmad Khaznadar spoke on behalf of IEEE CityU Student Branch, providing a briefing on both past achievements and upcoming events organized by the branch. Congratulations to the IEEE Lebanon Joint Chapter IE13/PE31/CA04/PEL35 and its Vice-Chair, Dr. Hiba Al Sheikh, for their well-deserved recognition with the Best Chapter Award for the Year 2023.
