Leading with Purpose: Towards Change workshop

CityU IEEE SB, in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture and Design, organized a workshop titled “Leading with Purpose: Towards Change,” focusing on leadership. The workshop featured Architect Aseel Honein, Founder of Indigo Kousba, Architecture in a Box, and Parallel Studio.
This partnership exemplifies CityUniversity’s commitment to excellence, emphasizing the significance of recognizing and leveraging each other’s strengths to enact meaningful change.
The workshop delved into exploring the power of leadership as a vital soft skill and discovering how cultivating leadership abilities can shape the future and drive positive change in the community. It highlighted the importance of always asking the “why” question to foster critical thinking and emphasized empowering oneself to become a catalyst for innovation and progress.
At the conclusion of the workshop, certificates of participation were distributed to the students, acknowledging their engagement and commitment. Additionally, a trophy was awarded to Architect Aseel for her excellent contribution and dedication to advancing leadership .
