City University’s Faculty of Public Health Participates in “Run for Our Health” Event and Receives Recognition Shield from Dar Al Shifa Hospital

The Faculty of Public Health at City University took part in the “Run for Our Health” sports event, organized by Dar Al Shifa Hospital in collaboration with the Municipality of Tripoli under the slogan “Better Health… Stronger Community.” The event brought together a wide range of educational and community institutions in support of promoting health and well-being.

At the heart of the event, City University stood out with its distinguished exhibition booth, reflecting the vision and guidance of Dr. Riyad Madani, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health. Students from the Nursing and Nutrition departments, under the coordination and supervision of Ms. Raneem Nafeh and Ms. Nourhan Al Ahdab, provided a variety of health services, including blood pressure screening, as well as nutritional counseling and health education for participants. Their efforts aimed to raise awareness about disease prevention and encourage the adoption of healthier lifestyles.

At the conclusion of the event, Dar Al Shifa Hospital presented the Faculty of Public Health at City University with a Recognition Shield in appreciation of its outstanding participation and valuable contribution to the success of the event, alongside several other participating institutions and organizations.
