City University Strengthens Its Academic Presence at the 52nd Annual Book Fair Organized by the Cultural League
Amid a distinguished cultural atmosphere, the 52nd edition of the Annual Book Fair, organized by the Cultural League in Tripoli, brought together a select group of universities and cultural institutions. City University marked an outstanding presence, reflecting its academic leadership and active role in Northern Lebanon’s cultural scene, while showcasing its educational vision and cultural mission.
At the heart of this vibrant cultural event, City University stood out through its distinguished pavilion, which embodied the vision and guidance of its President, Dr. Walid Dagher, and his ongoing commitment to strengthening the university’s participation in cultural forums. The university presented its diverse academic programs and scholarship opportunities, represented at the event by Ms. Reem Maasrani and Ms. Shireen Awad, whose efforts transformed the pavilion into a major attraction for visitors.
The university’s participation extended beyond the academic sphere, as the pavilion also hosted the signing ceremony of Dr. Samar Karami’s book, “The Language of Visual and Audio Political Media.” This initiative added a refined literary and cultural dimension to the university’s participation and reflected its dynamic engagement in intellectual and cultural discourse.
This participation comes as part of City University’s strategy to strengthen its community engagement and reinforce its role as a leading educational and cultural institution in Northern Lebanon, serving students’ aspirations while supporting Lebanon’s cultural movement.
