City University Hosts Seminar with “IRADA” to Strengthen Students’ Job Market Readiness

As part of its ongoing efforts to prepare students and graduates for successful entry into the workforce, City University, in collaboration with “IRADA,” organized a seminar delivered by Ms. Hala Sawda, coordinator of the “Khoubourat” program. The event was attended by Dr. Hiba El Sheikh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, and Ms. Shireen Awad, the university’s Recruitment Manager, who coordinated the seminar with Ms. Hala. Students from various faculties also took part.

During the seminar, Ms. Hala Sawda presented practical guidance to help students build strong CVs and avoid common mistakes. She also focused on developing their ability to present themselves confidently during job interviews. In addition, she addressed key questions frequently raised by recent graduates, offering insights into employers’ evaluation criteria and the essential skills needed to confidently launch and stand out in their professional careers.

In conclusion, the seminar provided a valuable opportunity for students to gain practical knowledge that enhances their readiness for the job market and supports a strong start to their careers.
