A Moment of Pride: FAD Faculty Member Shortlisted for the Prestigious Abdullatif Al Fozan Award

The Faculty of Architecture & Design at City University proudly congratulates Arch. Restorer Khader Assaad, a distinguished member of the FAD team, on this remarkable international achievement.

His project, “Islamic Center – Turku, Finland,” has been shortlisted among the Top 26 projects for the Abdullatif Al Fozan Award for Mosque Architecture, selected from more than 1,000 submissions representing over 50 countries worldwide.

This recognition reflects the quality of his professional practice and his contribution to contemporary architectural discourse. As a valued member of our Faculty, Arch. Khader Assaad brings his professional expertise, international experience, and architectural knowledge into the academic environment, enriching the educational experience of our students.
