The Board of Trustees of City University held a meeting chaired by MP Faisal Karami, the Chairman of the Board. The meeting was attended by the university’s president, Dr. Walid Dagher, the board’s secretary-general, Mr. Hamdi Dernaika, and board members Dr. Saba Zreik, Dr. Zahida Darwich, Dr. Nuwar Diab, and Dr. Nahla Hwala.

The discussion focused on academic and administrative affairs and explored ways to enhance the university’s educational environment to further strengthen its standing among Lebanese universities.

Following the meeting, MP Karami and the board members toured the university’s facilities, visiting classrooms and laboratories to observe the educational process firsthand. They also met with students, listening to their views and needs in an atmosphere of warmth and constructive engagement.

This gathering reflects the Board of Trustees’ commitment to closely following the university’s affairs and supporting its educational and humanitarian mission—helping nurture distinguished graduates who contribute to the progress of society.
