City University’s Faculty of Architecture and Design wins two first prizes in an architectural competition to design Tripoli’s historic gates

In a unique initiative aimed at promoting creativity among young people and encouraging them to engage in heritage preservation, the Culture, Heritage and Tourism Committee, in cooperation with the Civil Movement, organized an architectural competition on the design of Tripoli’s historic gates in the eyes of young men and women . Students from the Faculties of Art and Architecture at City University, Notre Dame Louaize, Alba participated in this event.

City University, Faculty of Architecture and Design won two awards:
Best Project Award for undergraduate students for the project “Tripoli seen through our eyes” submitted by students Youssef Hamoui, Mustafa Abdulkarim and Mahmoud Nazzal.

The Stratified Splendors project, which also won the Audience Award with 31.04% (1881 votes) submitted by students Lynn Nawashi, Carla Hammoud, Nariman Nazer and Faiza Qassem.
