City University Students Share the Joy of the Holidays with Senior Citizens in a Heartwarming Humanitarian Visit
Students from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at City University, in cooperation with the Student Affairs Office (SAO), organized a visit to Dar Hamilat Al-Tayeb in Deddeh, a residential care home for the elderly. The initiative aimed to spread joy during the holiday season and to promote the values of solidarity and social responsibility.
Members of the academic and administrative staff, along with students from various faculties, took part in this initiative, sharing meaningful moments that reflected a strong spirit of cooperation and generosity.
The visit included the distribution of symbolic gifts and the organization of interactive activities that brought happiness to the residents and created a warm space for human connection between generations, in an atmosphere filled with affection and kindness. Participants expressed their happiness with this experience and emphasized its importance in strengthening values of empathy and social responsibility.
