City University Shines at Tripoli’s Annual Book Fair with Distinguished Academic and Cultural Presence
In a vibrant atmosphere rich with culture, the 51st edition of the Annual Book Fair, organized by the Cultural Association in Tripoli, became a hub of knowledge and exchange. Among the many participating universities and cultural institutions was City University, showcasing its academic vision and cultural mission.
Amid this dynamic cultural scene, City University stood out with a distinctive booth, presenting a wide range of its academic programs and highlighting the scholarships it offers to students. This made the booth a key attraction for visitors.
Representing the university at the event were Ms. Shereen Awad, Ms. Reem Maasrani, and Miss Walaa Aouik. They welcomed attendees, answered inquiries, and embodied a vibrant presence that reflects the university’s commitment to engaging with both the academic and cultural communities. The participation was directed by the university president, Dr. Walid Dagher, who consistently works to strengthen the university’s role in cultural and academic forums, reinforcing its status as a leading educational institution.
The university’s booth drew significant attention and enthusiastic engagement. Visitors included prominent figures such as journalist Kamal Haidar, former Minister of Culture Mohammad Wissam Al-Murtada, and Minister of Displacement, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence Dr. Kamal Al-Haj Shahada, representing Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. Their presence added an official and distinguished touch to the university’s participation.
