City University, in collaboration with Forward MENA, hosts a seminar to enhance students’ readiness for the job market
As part of its continuous efforts to strengthen students’ digital skills and prepare them for a competitive job market, City University organized a seminar in cooperation with the IEEE Student Branch, hosting Forward MENA represented by Ms. Stephanie Bada‘an. She delivered an in-depth presentation on the organization’s flagship program, Nammiskills, in the presence of University President Dr. Walid Dagher, along with members of the academic and administrative staff, and a large number of students.
During the lecture, Ms. Bada‘an highlighted the significance of the program and its impact on empowering students to develop their technical abilities. She explained that the program enables students to obtain internationally recognized certifications from leading global institutions such as Microsoft, AWS, and LinkedIn, with more than 3,500 international certificates available free of charge for participating university students. These certifications are offered online, giving students flexibility in learning and helping them better prepare for the job market by building both technical and practical skills aligned with global industry needs.
In conclusion, the seminar reflects the university’s vision of promoting modern education and fostering strong academic partnerships that support students’ skill development and pave the way toward a promising professional future.
