The Office of Student Affairs at City University organized a welcome event to greet the incoming students, with the participation of members of the academic and administrative staff.

The event began with a speech by the University President, Dr. Walid Dagher, who welcomed the students by saying: “Welcome to City University — this is your university, and you are an inseparable part of it.” He wished them a successful start to the academic year.

Following his remarks, the deans of the faculties introduced their respective colleges, after which Mr. Hani Rajab, Head of Student Insurance; Ms. Walaa Awik, Registration Director; and Mr. Dany Hrayki, Director of Student Affairs, each addressed the audience.

The celebration continued with the cutting of a cake in honor of the new students. Afterwards, attendees moved outside where senior students had set up information booths introducing the university’s various student clubs. This gave the newcomers the chance to learn more about each club and join the ones that matched their interests.
