City University Celebrates the First Anniversary of Dr. Walid Dagher’s Presidency
City University held a special gathering to mark the first anniversary of Dr. Walid Dagher assuming the presidency of the university, with the participation of members from both the administrative and academic bodies.
In his address, Dr. Dagher expressed his pride in what he described as “a blessed year filled with challenges and achievements.” He extended heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, MP Faisal Karami, and his wife Mrs. Janan, for their continuous support of the university and its academic mission.
He emphasized that the university thrives through its people, likening it to a tree that grows stronger as its branches flourish. He added that every individual’s success contributes to the progress of the whole institution, and that the spirit of giving and belonging is what truly allows the university to prosper.
Dr. Dagher further noted that the university has become a second home for everyone, voicing his aspirations for greater accomplishments in the years to come. He thanked all those who organized the initiative, which he said reflected the spirit of one family.
The celebration concluded in a warm and joyful atmosphere, with staff honoring the president and sharing a cake-cutting ceremony in his honor.
