City University Architecture and Design Students Participate in “Training of Trainers on Climate Change” in Collaboration with the Student Affairs Office

After winning the ANERA Initiative, a group of students from the Faculty of Architecture and Design at City University took part in a specialized Training of Trainers (ToT) program focused on climate change in Lebanon.

This participation came in collaboration with the City Student Affairs Office (CitySAO) as part of the “Greener Lebanon” project organized by ANERA. The training was held at Via Mina Hotel in El Mina, Tripoli.

The program aimed to strengthen participants’ leadership and facilitation skills, while deepening their understanding of climate change issues and the vital role young people can play in addressing them. It included both educational and interactive sessions focusing on designing youth-led environmental initiatives targeting individuals aged 15 to 24 years old.

Ultimately, the participation of City University’s architecture and design students reflects their deep commitment to the role of architecture and design in achieving sustainable development and environmental protection. This initiative also embodies the university’s dedication to supporting youth-driven projects that contribute to building a greener and more sustainable future for Lebanon.
