City University and the Order of Engineers and Architects of Tripoli sign a Memorandum of Understanding
In a move that reflects a shared vision to promote integration between the academic sector and the professional community, City University and the Order of Engineers and Architects in Tripoli signed a cooperation agreement at the syndicate’s headquarters.
The signing ceremony was attended by MP Fayssal Karame, Chairman of Tayyar AlKarame and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of City University, President of the Syndicate Eng. Shawki Fatfat, City University President Dr. Walid Dagher, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology Dr. Hiba Al Sheikh, Chairperson of the Faculty of Architecture and Design Arch. Rayan Najjar, in addition to a group of academics, engineers, and members of the Syndicate’s Board of Directors.
This agreement aims to develop innovative training and academic programs that meet the aspirations of students and engineers alike, with a focus on enhancing their practical and scientific skills, and preparing competencies capable of meeting the requirements of the labor market and facing future challenges with distinguished expertise.
Both parties emphasized that this partnership represents a qualitative and strategic step that seeks to enhance the integration between the higher education sector and the engineering sector, which contributes to providing pioneering opportunities that support sustainable development and encourage innovation in various engineering and technical fields.
