Another Achievement for City University at the “Therapeutic Innovations and Emerging Rehabilitation Technologies” Conference
City University student Mira Sankari, from the Biomedical Engineering Department, took part in the “Therapeutic Innovations and Emerging Rehabilitation Technologies” conference, held at the Holy Family University in Batroun, in collaboration with the Lebanese Order of Physiotherapists.
Mira presented her research titled “SenseMotion: An AI-Powered Multisensor Framework for Hand Movement Analysis and Rehabilitation.” During her presentation, she highlighted how multisensor data and artificial intelligence can be integrated to provide a more objective evaluation and precise monitoring of hand recovery during physiotherapy sessions.
Her participation stood out as an inspiring example of student creativity and excellence, underscoring City University’s leading role in promoting scientific research and fostering innovation.
Finally, the conference served as a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise, and for building professional networks among physiotherapists, doctors, and specialists in rehabilitation, neurology, and health technologies.
