FEITM mission is to: Provide high quality education & research programs with the support of dedicated and experienced faculties, Strengthen CityU’s leadership role by enhancing partnerships with industry, government laboratories, & academic & research institutions and to Foster focus in Engineering, Economic, Environmental, and Social skills that leads to employment ready graduates.

Faculty Objectives

Our goal is to play a key role in educating future leaders in technology by providing state-of-the-art programs in engineering and information technology. Our goal also includes continued improvement of the undergraduate and the graduate curricula for education of a new breed of students. These students possess not only a strong knowledge of fundamentals, but also an understanding of societal, legal and environmental issues that determine intellectual technological choices.

Faculty Location & area

The area assigned to the Faculty of Engineering & Information Technology and Maritime Studies extends over 2100 m2 and has a capacity for 350 fulltime students and researchers.
