A humanitarian tourist tour for students of the Faculty of Tourism at City University in the heart of the historic city of Tripoli

On a day full of joy and giving, and with the generous support of the White Hands, the students of the Faculty of Tourism at City University, under the patronage and participation of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr.Iman Al-Baba, organized a distinctive archaeological tourist tour that included the most prominent landmarks of the ancient city of Tripoli, with the participation of the children of the Shaarani Orphanage, within the framework of the approved practical activities.

The children, accompanied by university students, wandered through the alleys of the Old City, where they enjoyed discovering the magic of the castle, the internal markets, the khans of Tripoli, and the ancient mosques, and learned about the city’s ancient history and rich culture in a fun and simple way.

The trip also included a warm meal in one of the city’s restaurants, and the day concluded with a special entertainment activity in the SPAAS – games arena, where the children spent fun-filled times.

In conclusion, this tour was not just a picnic, but rather carried within it a message of love and belonging to our heritage, and an embodiment of our responsibility towards the future generation. This initiative also reflects City University’s commitment to its humanitarian role towards society, and its keenness to develop ties between students and society through activities that contribute to spreading human and social values.
